Benito Hernández is a Zapotec from the Sierra Norte region of Oaxaca. He has lived most of his life in Oaxaca City. He holds a degree from the Universidad Autonoma Benito Juarez and has over 20 years experience working as a guide. He is very knowledgeable about the history, culture and traditions of this land, and he loves sharing his cultural heritage with visitors from all over the world. Benito is also an avid birder and he offers birding and nature tours.
